I don’t talk a lot about what things are going on locally in my religious life, and I’m not likely to start, but there are those times when simply noting that something big has happened is enough.
It was a major breakthrough, really. A block that I had been chipping away at for years it seemed. It didn’t come without its price, though, and I’ve lost some things of great personal value in the exchange. But, sacrifices don’t come easy or for free.
Also, letting go of what once was can not be put off forever. Loki taught me that this month. I can not keep ignoring a situation, hoping that it will go away, or work itself out in the end, whenever that’s supposed to be.
But, as I said, it was a sacrifice. So, I gave away those stagnant things, and in return, long standing obstacles were cleared away. This really is a big deal for me personally, and in regard to my reverence of Apollon.
So, that’s all I have to say about that, at least for now. Perhaps as things pan out in the future, I’ll be allowed to give a glimpse of the vision. Until then, please, just wish me luck. And let us hope that the Work which I accomplish helps to build and expand our Polytheistic future.
Hail to Apollon, our Beloved Lord, and hail to Loki, Who crushed the first obstacle toward the goal!
