Hyperboreos

Heavenly Judge, Who leaves the affairs of men during the Winter portion of the
Year.  He Whose place in our hearts can now only be filled by lofty
Praise, King of the far-northern throne, to Whom we
Entrust all the riches of our souls.  He tends to the seat of
Righteousness, and is now set to harmonize,
By His Order, all things.  He is the Distance made manifest.  He is the
Origin of our desire, and His is the Glorious
Return.  But first, the Worlds must be made to move again,
Entralled by His Will.  Therefor, we honor Him,
Our King, Who is found in the lengthening dark, perched upon the
Summit of the Kosmic Order.

“King of the far-northern throne” I love this ^_^

  2. I feel compelled to offer my readers this bit, before I go, because it is uncertain whether I’ll return before the end of October. This poem, ‘Hyperboreos’, can be used as a brief invocation, if you are so inclined, simply by changing the wording of the second half a little. I’ll just show you what I mean:

Heavenly Judge, Who leaves the affairs of men during the Winter portion of the
Year. He Whose place in our hearts can now only be filled by lofty
Praise, King of the far-northern throne, to Whom we
Entrust all the riches of our souls. You tend to the seat of
Righteousness, and are now set to harmonize,
By Your Order, all things. You are the Distance made manifest. You are the
Origin of our desire, and Yours is the Glorious
Return. But first, the Worlds must be made to move again,
Enthralled by Your Will. Therefor, we honor You,
Our King, Who is found in the lengthening dark, perched upon the
    Summit of the Kosmic Order.

A lot of my writing can be used in creative ways, both as they are, and with a bit of rewording, here and there.
